Paradise Estate Wines

Paradise Estate are a producer of tropical wines made from fruits that are grown in the tropical areas of Queensland.  The winery is based at Mission Beach in Far North Queensland and is open for tastings all year round with the cellar door based in the main production area so you can see what goes on whilst you sup on a sweet banana wine.Fruits that are used include mangos, bananas, coconut, pitaya and other tropical varieties.

Riversands Vineyards

Riversands produces a wide range of whites, reds and fortified wine from its base in the Maranoa of South Queensland.  The have been running close to ten years and have a string of awards and high ratings for their wines.  They have a cellar door which is open 7 days a week as well as a cafe which supplies lunchtime meals and cakes.

Tamborine Estate Wines

Tamborine Estate Wines is the oldest winery in the Gold Coast Hinterland region is on the route of many of the bus tours that run out of Brisbane and the Gold Coast.  They produce more than ten different varieties of wine, including red white and rose.The winery is a great place to visit for tastings, a picnic or a tour. Set amongst the volcanic soils of Tamborine Mountain close to large areas of sub-tropical rain forest make it a very unusual place for a winery.

Albert River Wines

Set in the Gold Coast Hinterland wine region, Albert River Wines has been going since 1998 in its current location.  The winery is home to cellardoor sales and tasting as well as being able to host a wide range of functions.

Wedgetail Ridge Estate

Wedgetail Ridge Estate near Toowoomba in South East Queensland is named after two pairs of Wedge Tailed Eagles which live on the property.  They produce 5 different varieties of wine with the focus on their Shiraz variety.  There is a cellar door and cafe as well as conference facilities.

Whiskey Gully Wines

Set amongst the granite belt in South Eastern Queensland, Whiskey Gully Wines have been producing wine since their first vintage in 1999.  The grow a small varity of wine including their flagship Shiraz.There is a cellar door as well as a restaurant which is run in-conjunction with the Beverly Vineyard Restaurant.  You can even stay in one of their B&B cabins if you need a base to tour the region.
